The villa is beautiful, set in a large plot in the middle of a forest, in prime Loire Chateau country (close to Chateaux Chambord, Cheverny and Beauregard). It was incredibly peaceful, we didn’t glimpse a neighbour during our stay (except for the odd hare!) There is loads of living space inside (all immaculately decorated) – a large living area (with wood fire), kitchen, huge dining room, separate TV room, then a further games room downstairs with pool table, darts and table football. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms/showers (three en suite) In the garden there’s a large swimming pool, table tennis table, petunk pitch and loads of seating and dining tables. However, we made the most use out of the enormous jacuzzi which was incredibly clean and a perfect temperature! The owners were also delightful and incredibly helpful. They have lots of ideas about what to do in the area! This villa is great for groups of friends (like us) and would also work well for families with children. We loved it and hope to be able to return!
